    Dr. Laura Twedt

    Dr. Twedt received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine. She worked in private practice in Pennsylvania immediately after graduation, then returned to school to obtain a Masters of Science degree in Wild Animal Health at the University of London, UK. A two-year zoo animal residency was completed at the Bronx zoo in 2003, bringing her to New York. Dr. Twedt returned to private practice in 2003 joining Meadow Veterinary Hospital as an associate veterinarian, and is happy to have found a permanent home at Meadow Veterinary Hospital, as current owner since 2008. Dr. Twedt has several pets including an African Grey Parrot, a Greater Sulfur Crested Cockatoo, cats, and dogs. When not working, Dr. Twedt enjoys hiking with her dogs. Two of her dogs have even have summited several of the Adirondacs High Peaks and earned their own patches!

    Dr. Lisa Raznick

    Dr Raznick received her undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University. Originally from Michigan, Dr. Raznick relocated to New York in 2000. She has practiced in NYC and Southern Westchester for the past 17 years. She lives locally with her family and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Biscuit and Mickey. When not on “Dr. Duty” Lisa is running around with her kids, and enjoys playing tennis, boot camp and reading a good book.

    Dr. Paul Mihok

    Dr Paul Mihok received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Timisoara in 1992, followed by clinical in Oklahoma. He has been in practice for years, doing per diem work and house calls, providing integrated veterinary services. An expert in holistic care, Dr. Mihok is trained in both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), as well as Conventional Veterinary Medicine. He now resides in CT with his wife, kids, cats, dogs & chickens. In his spare time, Dr. Mihok enjoys spending time with his family.

  • Dr. Julie LaRue

    Dr. Julie LaRue was born and raised in Montréal, Québec. When she was 16 she moved to San Diego, California and later earned her bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. Dr. LaRue has always enjoyed visiting New York and with her family being so close by, it was an easy decision to relocate to New York. Dr. LaRue has a special interest in public health, especially in the realm of preventive medicine and zoonotic diseases. In her spare time, she likes to read, spend time with her family and her cat Phoebe, and hike outdoors!
